Foster-Miller, Inc., announced today that it has successfully obtained certification to Aerospace Quality Management Standard AS9100. Certification was performed by National Quality Assurance (NQA) USA, headquartered in Acton, MA, a leading registrar in the United States with corporate headquarters in the UK. Completing the certification process was a Foster-Miller corporate goal for 2005.
“Certification required the cooperation and collaboration of all of our support and operating groups,” explained Dr. William Ribich, President and CEO of Foster-Miller. “This was no small feat, given the diversity of technologies, customers, products and services we offer. NQA, our auditors, were very complimentary of our efforts in meeting this unique challenge and getting separate certifications for each operating group as well as a corporate umbrella certificate.”
Foster-Miller, Inc., is an engineering, development and manufacturing company located in suburban Boston, MA, with additional offices in Albany, NY and Washington, DC.
