The BD-Logic Glucose Monitor is a relatively painless and simple-to-use testing device that analyzes glucose (blood sugar) levels. The innovative monitor requires the world's smallest blood sample to produce an accurate reading in just 5 seconds. "Micro-sampling" enables diabetics to obtain an adequate sample with less pain than traditional glucose monitoring devices that require larger samples.
Working in partnership with Nova Biomedical, the developer of the technology, Foster-Miller designed and built the production equipment for the glucose monitoring test strips that the system uses to transfer the blood samles for analysis. Nova Biomedical currently manufactures the glucose monitors, sold as the BD-LogicTM Blood Glucose Monitor.
