Foster-Miller developed an enterprise laboratory automation system for a major pharmaceutical client. The system is fully automated, requiring no human intervention, and provides for remote processing and administration, laboratory based management applications, and direct control of work cells. The system provides end-to-end chain of custody information, 21 CFR Part 11 compliant storage, electronic signatures, and electronic notebooks. Foster-Miller's lab automation software has the ability to interface with enterprise data storage and knowledge management applications using state-of-the-art software technologies including Microsoft .Net, Oracle, message queuing and XML. The system is configurable to custom laboratory applications with a unique plug-and-play architecture.
